AtmoSpheres Collaboration 2008 - 2010
AtmoSpheres are a collaborative effort between Cheryl Myrbo and Tim Settimi who started working on atmospheric machinations in 2003. Myrbo, the colorist, starts the process by choosing a palette and laying in the atmosphere. Settimi, the engineer, finds and develops volumes and spatial relationships in the value changes, modeling these relationships as aquatic, molecular or planetary structures. Once these structures are defined, the attractions and tensions are illustrated. Together Settimi and Myrbo refine the final work leaving a little room for the viewer's imagination. |
